Guided walks from Daphnes

Walking in Porto Roma and Zakynthos during May and October

Selected days during these months there is the opportunity to join us on one of our six walks in different parts of the island. The active walking time is between 2 and 4 hours. During the walk we will experience Zakynthos' spectacular nature and learn about the geological, natural and political history of the island.

The lunch included is either picnic or at a tavern.

We speak English, Swedish, German and Greek.

Walking to the beach
We enjoy a 2-3 hours walk ending at one of Zakynthos wonderful beaches, swim and sunbathe and then have lunch together before returning back to Porto Roma by car.
Time: 8.00-14.00

Also there are several beautiful paths for walking through forest and farmland around Daphnes and all over the Vassilikos area. Greek Cooking at Daphnes

Greek cooking classes in Porto Roma Every Saturday in June and September.

Get a taste of the traditional Greek cuisine!
Learn how to cook real Mediterranean dishes using local vegetables and fruits of the season, fish and local meat like chicken and lamb.

We also try out the best of Greek wine and different Greek cheeses.

Yoga for everybody with Loukia Pikis at Daphnes.

Welcome to join our yoga class Wednesday mornings from May to September. Loukia is instructing Hatha yoga in English and Greek with an approach of mindfulness. Suitable for all levels from unexperienced to advanced.
You can also join her classes at her beautiful studio in Akrotiri, just outside Zakynthos town.

The Loggerhead Sea Turtle

The beaches of Vassilikos in the Laganas bay are the main nesting areas for the Loggerhead Sea Turtle (Caretta Caretta).
The National Marine Park of Zakynthos is giving you information and arranging slide-shows at their information stand at the Gerakas Beach.
